This book came about because of several things: my dear Elaine’s encouragement, my interest in genealogy and requests from my children and grandchildren for stories of my life including my family, my goats and my faith. I have been satisfied for years to be God’s humble goat keeper and I still am. As such, He has led me to many parts of HIs wonderful world where I have met many fine people. It has been exciting to look up my ancestry and see the cultures represented and it has been inspiring to note the great faith in Jesus Christ they passed on to me. They believed as I do, the great words recorded in Job 19:25. “I know that my Redeemer lives!”
